I have always been inspired by the night sky. Visiting Machu Picchu deepened that fascination; I was struck by how much of its architecture and design was shaped by observing the heavens.
It made me look more closely at the constellations we have named and the stories we have placed among the stars. From that came Spectrum Zodiac  a playful, colourful series inspired by the night sky, the zodiac and the constellations that have helped us make meaning of it.
Each print is individually hand-embellished with non-toxic phosphorescent paint. Once charged by light, selected details glow in the dark, echoing the way stars emerge as daylight disappears.
The pieces are designed to work as compositions in their own right during the day. The glow is an additional, hidden layer - a small nod to the character of stars themselves.
